This is a 16th birthday cake. 10', 8" and 6' on top. All decorations were made of mmf. I painted the music notes with clear vanilla & silver pearl dust (thank you to my daughter who stayed up late with me drawing and cutting notes out of fondant!) The bow was dusted silver pearl dust using a paintbrush to give it a shimmery effect. I was so proud of the bow. I had tried & failed to make one. I got on Wilton's web site for ideas and also watched a you tube & used melted white chocolate to hold it together. This cake took FOREVER to make, but it was a huge success! So happy! :-) I used 1 plate & pillars in beween the 8" and 10". There are also flags on the top layer (she is in colorguard) but they were a bit hidden by the bow.
