Icing Smiles Dream Cake For Little Girl On Hospice

This is a princess and castle themed cake for a little girl who has had leukemia for four years and is now on hospice. She is celebrating her 7th birthday. The bottom 18" tier is a marble Grand Fudge and Butter cake, the hand carved pillow tier is Grand Fudge filled with our fresh chocolate ganche and covered in chocolate buttercream. It is imprinted with the Wilton floral/heart mat on top and airbrushed with Americolor pink sheen. The top tier is our butter cake with buttercream imprinted with Sugarcraft's cobblestone mat and airbrushed with a mixture of Americolor pearl sheen, sky blue, lavender, and jet black. Every single part of the cake is entirely edible with the minor exception of the wires holding up the flags and the Disney Sleeping Beauty topper on the little princess cake. She is surrounded with a ruffle made with a gumpaste and a garrett cutter rather than the typical tip 104 buttercream ruffle. The crown is cut with a Cricut from the Cake Basics cartridge and airbrushed with Americolor gold sheen. The gems are made from Wilton's new silicone boroque mold and than brushed with piping gel and covered in holographic disco dust. The entire cake is than covered in holographic disco dust to look like it is magically covered in tiny diamonds (which cannot be seen with the camera lens but were stunning in person). The board is imprinted with Wilton's vine mat and than airbrushed with Americolor green sheen and covered in FondX and hand made fondant flowers which are all over every tier of the four cakes. The little shoe is hand molded out of gumpaste, painted with piping gel and then poured with raspberry disco dust so that it looks like diamonds as well.
