First Birthday cake made to match party decor. The cupcake tier is the smash cake. It's all covered in buttercream which made it more difficult. I thought a fondant layer would make it too hard for the baby to get into the good stuff!! 4" top tier slightly carved at an angle. 8" bottom tier. Fondant accents. The candle is a regular large birthday candle covered in a fondant swirl to make it more substantial and to match the decorations. It actually lit without problems. Thanks for looking.
