I unfortunately finished this cake just under the wire, as the client was arriving, and didn't have a chance to photograph it. Luckily, she was kind enough to take this photo, and send it to me. I only wish that the color would have shown up a little better:( Bottom layer is pound cake with chocolate buttercream icing. Top layer, chocolate pound cake with classic buttercream icing.
