I used a cast iron Texas cake pan on top of two layers of sheet cake. I used an ice cube tray where the cubes were shaped like stars and Texas to make the 3d stars and Texas. For the Texas, I put blue colored sugar in the trays first. Should have done this for all because one of the stars would not come out and I broke the tray. Using a pastry bag, I squeezed layers of white and milk chocolate in layers into the tray. I used Wilton's chocolate and primary colors fondant cut with cookie cutters. The boot in front is the result of putting the cookie cutter in on a cookie sheet and pouring cake batter into it then baking with the rest of the cake. Then I put a layer of chocolate fondant on the baked cake boot which was cut with the same cookie cutter.
