Beach Holiday

Chocolate fudge cake for a woman who loves to stay at fancy resorts, but whose children love the beach. The chair is made of gumpaste, as are the palm branches. The branches have a wire in them, the tree trunks have a hollow pastic tube down the center, and the little drink on the chair has a piece of toothpick in the stem. Otherwise everything is edible made from fondant. The blue water area is buttercream. The "sand" is graham crackers mixed with butter and sugar, spread over buttercream icing, and sprinkled with cinnamon. The rock wall in the resort area are candy coated chocolate (purchased). The "dirt" is oreo cookie crumbs. Rolled up towels and an iphone in the beach bag. The recipient was thrilled with it! I didn't realize that she has a pink iphone.

I used to be a big fan of newfangled resorts and various spas. But lately I just can't stand vacations, where the only entertainment is to lie and sunbathe on the beach. I began to like active recreation. I like to book a small room at westgateresorts.com for a few days. And have fun not on the beach, but for example by traveling through the mountains and forests, sometimes you can visit various events or interesting restaurants in the local style. This kind of vacation I like more than just lying and sunbathing.
