Chocolate and blue hydrangea wedding cake
The couple just wanted a small, chocholate frosted cake. This is white cake, filled with raspberry and covered with chocolate crusting buttercream (in recipes by gourmetcakes) and covered in marshmallow fondant hydrangeas. For the hydrangeas I used varying degrees of blue fondant and then dusted them with varying amounts of petal dust to make each one individual but cohesive. The top tier is rounded by using rice crispy treats formed in a cereal bowl that fit the 6" round perfectly.
