Ellis and Evin got matching harvest theme birthday cakes, inspired by their invitations. Everything on the cake is fondant, except of course those tasty mellow creme pumpkins (mmmm) and the candy pumpkins on top. I made those hollow, filled them with candy corn, then sealed them to make little candy pinatas. Ellis' cake looks a little rough on top b/c she has PKU and the top layer of her top tier is a specialty mix (no eggs... very dense!!)... it's a little lumpy but she got her cake!!
