Wow!!! excellent job!!!! I've never been able to carve a cake without getting crumbs all over the place. This is outstanding!!!!!

The scales were actually pretty quick. Just BC round tip #7 at a 75 degree angle layered over each other in rows from tail to head. The marble base is what took forever. Crumbs... the cake was frozen for 30 min. to cut down on the crumbs.

Holy cow! The detail on your cakes is amazing. My eyes would glaze over by the time I painted the...what...100th coin?!!

Thank you, to get the blue fondant I just mixed in a touch of Wilton's Sky Blue with my basic white fondant. If you're asking about the sheen on it... it's from a light dusting of gold petal dust.
