Just Awsome...ok I have to know...I am sure the buttons are fondant..but how are they made?

Thank you so much! as for the buttons, I just made different size little fondant balls, flattened them, to make the circle inside I used the circle end of any decorating tip, I think a slushy straw for the other size, anything that could leave a circle imprint is good. Really simple. Then I 'threaded' them with icing!
