After months and months of reading the forums and perusing the pictures of all the other helmet cakes on this site I finally got up the courage to try to make one myself. Its for a little boys 7th birthday. Not to bad for my first try...The hardest part was the face mask and I was so happy that it fit the cake once I had placed the fondant on it. Thank you CC members for all the tutorials, questions, answers and pics. Whew!
