This cake was based on the design of Richard Festen, renowned Californian cake artist - see the "bakingarts" website for his fabulous creations. The exterior of the cake is wrapped in white modeling chocolate panels, and the roses are made from dark modeling chocolate. So wonderful to work with and delicious!
