Ryland's 2Nd Birthday Cake
This was my grandson's 2nd birthday cake. He loves Mickey Mouse and baseball so we decided to comine the two. When he saw the baseballs on the cake he wanted to play with them. We had to guard the cake table to keep him from getting into them. The square cake is milk chocolate with BC filling and icing, 2 of the baseballs are red velvet with cream cheese filling and BC icing and the 3rd baseball is a pineapple cake with amaretto & pineapple BC filling and BC icing. I think this one was the favorite of all. Thanks to Jenstrong77 for her help with this cake.
I want to make this cake for my grandson, but cannot find the disney figures you used. I can find the figurines, but not the one that includes Donald Duck sliding into home base. Where can I find those exact characters. Thank you for any help you can give!
I had a hard time finding the figures also. I believe I purchased some of the Mickey playhouse toys to get the figures. I don't know specifically that the Donald figure came that way. I may have just posed him like that. That was many years ago and I really don't remember. I would just check the toy section and see if you can find one that you can pose. Sorry I can't be more help.
