My nephew graduated from his high school with a scholarship to play basketball for UW. So, to celebrate his continuing basketball career, the shoe on the left represents his high school sporting its logo on the side and the shoe on the right represents his college of choice with its logo on the side. The basketball holds his high school cap, tassel, and number. Both shoes and the basketball are different flavors of cakes.
