Half chocolate, half vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting covering the cake. I made the graduation scroll out of fondant and wrote on it with food coloring. I drew the sailor symbol on the fondant with an edible food coloring pen. I made the discus and the shotput out of krisipie treats, covered in fondant. For the graduation hat, I used a plastic container that I cut at an angle, and a piece of cardboard then covered both of them in black fondant. I made the tassels out of fondant that I rolled into longer pieces.
