Butterflies For Joanne

This was for a second time customer. I like how it turned out. Of course, lots of little flaws. My cream cheese icing would not crust for some unknown reason ? so when I placed the deco on it the icing wrinkled a bit. Isn?t it weird how the same recipe you?ve used for years once in a while will act up for no apparent reason? Anyway, my first time making mini's (I made a video of easy they are - ask if you want to see it). The customer walked in, cried a little "oh!" and said. "I never thought it would be this pretty!" That's what it is all about, huh? TFL!! Red Velvet Cake (Southern Style, not CA style) with cream cheese icing tinted very pink. Mini red velvet cakes cover in cream cheese and topped with Satin Ice Fondant. Butterflies cut from fondant. Hand rolled border of purple balls brushed with Super Pearl, Magenta and Purple luster dusts. Edible beading finishes off the trim and butterflies.
