Oriental String work is very dainty, very tidious but worth to try at least once in your lifetime. This technique need to have the cake flip upside down in order to do the stand up icing [royal icing]. This is a dummy cake. Can't really do it with the real cake unless.. it is a very firm cake like fruit cake or any type of dense cake.
