This cake represents "Decorating Basics" 101 ~ The finished cake is approx 12? x 13? x 3?? (not including legs and arms) ~ Cake layers are dark chocolate fudge and yellow cake ~ Filling is Bavarian cr?me ~ The entire cake is edible (including the arms, hands & feet) ~ Arms are Tootsie Rolls shaped like arms with hands covered in a yellow gumpaste/fondant blend ~ the legs are also Tootsie Rolls shaped like legs covered in a white gumpate/fondant blend (red & blue strips on the socks are fondant) ~ shoes are cake iced with black icing (arms, hands, legs & feet are courtesy of my husband's creative talent ~ without his creativity and vision, this cake would just have been a sponge!!
