The bride I made this cake for was having a small backyard wedding and wanted a simple wedding cake (thank goodness because this was my first wedding cake ever!). The cake is vanilla with raspberry filling and covered with fondant. The roses are also made from fondant (my first attempt at making my own roses too). On a sad note, I later learnt that the bride and her mum had had a falling out the day before the wedding and since her mum had paid for the cake, it ended up in the trash :(
