Yes, this was a wedding cake. It's sponge cake with apple buttercream and a filling of apple sauce and plum butter. The sides are covered with roasted almonds. Marzipan roses and hearts. It didn't quite turn out as I hoped it would but the bride loved it, and that's what counts.
