First Wedding Cake

First Wedding Cake on Cake Central

This is the first wedding cake that I did in class. I'd love to get some honest opinions. One day I hope to own my own business. I used fondant and real flowers.

I also meant to tell you that your fondant looks awesome!! Very smooth. Is your cake crooked? or is it just the picture?

For just your first wedding cake, I know how you feel. Just keep up the great work and you will be able to start your own business.

Thank you ALL so much for your comments. I took this class at a school called Emily Griffith Opportunity School in Denver, CO. I'm trying to take as many classes as possible to get as much experience as I can. I was trying to match a cake in the book, Cake Decorating for the First Time. The fondant came out a bit darker than the one in the book. Sassy, it's the angle I took the picture. Godiva, I thought about that when I was coloring them. I'd love to attend pastry school.
