Lisa, I want to thank you for the inspiration. I made the spiderman cake in January and it was a real hit at my nephews bday party. I used the sports ball pan and 2 small round cakes to make the head and neck. My son and I did a little shaping and it turned out great. I posted it on this site. Again, thank you for the inspiration!!
thanks.......turns out my nephew wants venom.......and I saw a pretty cool comic book cover that had spiderman's head on it and half the head was venom and half spidey.....so I think I am going to attempt this cake like that........hopefully it turns out ok (fingers crossed)
I LOVE YOUR CAKE! Could you do the head by using the egg pan & maybe a little trimming to fit together? How many servings did you get without using the head?
