This is the first cake I did after completing my Wilton Cake Decorating Class I. Idea inspired by other doll cakes on this site. All buttercream decorations. For the Barbie, I used a doll pic, removed the head, and used one of my daughter's Barbie heads instead. Unfortunately, the Barbie head didn't go back on the Barbie as nicely, as I would have hoped, but I prefer the look of a real Barbie head over the doll pic heads. The cake was baked in a Pampered Chef batter bowl.
