I volunteered to make dinner for a woman at my church recovering from breast cancer surgery. She lost her husband of over 30 years in Jan, her sister had breast cancer this summer. It hasn't been an easy year for her. I had a good time making this cake and hoping it would bring her some cheer during the Christmas season.
