My friend retired today so I made her a cake with some of her favorite things. A Miche Bag purse, tortilla chips, Private Quarters throw, and her favorite donut. The donut is the real thing, but everything else is cake and fondant. It was my first time working with black fondant and Satin Ice. It was dry and kept cracking and ripping, but all in all, I was happy with the cake and everyone at the party loved it. Please feel free to leave gentle critiques. I'm a newbie so I know I still need to work on my skills.
