My very first tiered cake! It was a mammoth undertaking for me, I did a bit every night, and then took a day off work for the final day. I calculated it probably took me twenty one hours just for the decorating (not including baking). It had better be easier the next time around or I'm giving up!! ;-)

Sadly it met an unfortunate accident during transport. Apparenty the car it was riding in did not have as flat a floor as first thought, and it slid sideways. They still loved it though, and it was for family so nobody got upset about it.
