I created this four tiered sweet 16 birthday cake for my Niece Hope...everything on the ckes are edible...including the soccer ball cake which i covered in individual black and white fondant hexagons and pentagons so it would look as realistic as possible. She is a huge soccer player/ artist, music lover..she wanted a unique cake with a touch of the 80's color and feel ... Chocolate and vanilla cake covered in butter cream and fondant....I also made the cupcakes and to match :) Did I fail to mention that I flew out with all my pastry stuff to california from florida and made it in a tiny apartment kitchen hidden from her house until i could set it up...two days to do it all :) Cake Challenge...here I come :))
