I was asked to make this cake for my fiance's aunt's 60th birthday celebration. It was supposed to be damask, but I totally chickened out and fell back on hand painting, since that's what I'm most comfortable with. Turns out it worked out perfectly, because it would have been too "matchy" since there was a lot used for decoration. Top layer was based upon a design by allris...though I by no means executed it as nicely. TFL!
