This was carved from one 13x9 cake, sitting on a 12" cake board. I used about 300 circles to cover this bad boy. : ) I did not cover the cake with a layer of fondant first, I just stuck the circles to the buttercream. This is WASC cake with buttercream icing and a Butterfinger filling. Satin ice fondant. To make the handles I just used thick wire and strung the balls on. Thank you so much for looking!
