Nan's 5Th Birthday
I made this cake for my daughters 5th bithday. It is white w/ strawberry rhubarb filling, covered in pink fondant and purple fondant lettering and number. I dusted her name and the 5 w/super pearl dust, and sprinkled edible glitter on the cake. The butterflies are made w/rice paper, edible ink markers and royal icing bodies. I just looked at the how to part of this site for the directions for the butterflies.
I want that!
Oh, how beautfiul! Your butterflies came out WAY BETTER than mine! What template did you use for them? Or did you freehand?
Thank you! I wish I could free hand!! I just went on line and did an image google search for butterflies. They also have some you can print out with the directions on the how to page.
I wish I could find rice paper in this town! AWESOME job on that cake!
