This 2-tier cake was covered in chocolate buttercream icing. The "cherry blossoms" are royal icing. I used the directions for apple blossoms because I had no idea how to do cherry blossoms. It was for my sister-in-law, who loved it. Next time I would do the blossoms in bc though.
