This was my wedding cake which I made! We had a very small wedding.. so I wanted to do something unique. I looooove trees, so had the topper custom made by a lady who makes wire beaded trees in the US. The quote on the cake says "May our roots grow towards each other underground", which is an excerpt from one of my favourite love quotes about growing old together. Hence why I made the cake have roots! This was very hard to cover in fondant as it was a double barrell 6" and the main roots were carved at the base. It held a lot of meaning for us which made it a very special cake. :) The colours of the cake don't show up well in this picture, so there's another one with natural light.
