This cake was made special for Independence Day. I used white cake mix, white created the blue corner and spread vanilla frosting over the rest of the cake. I cut strawberries up and mashed them up in a bowl with sugar (like you would make strawberry shortcake) and placed it in rows like stripes. As you can see, some of the excess juice ran down the side of the cake, so next time, I will put the strawberries on BEFORE you ice the entire cake, so the cake will soak up the juice. This cake was SO delicious!!!!
