Mary's Turquoise Birthday Cake

So disappointed in this cake I wanted to cry or throw it in the trash. Used Blue SI and had gut feeling I was going to have problems. Cake was a gift for a friend's 40th birthday. Did everything that I was supposed to do for SI, rolled out fairly well but as soon as I laid it on cake I was having problems with cracking & drying (no I did not use or add CS or PS). As soon as I was done with each layer I quilted but in places I really had to push to get the marks as it was drying too fast. The next morning I find that I must have pushed too hard as the BC wicked thru the fondant and left grease marks. Cakes are 10 & 7 inch chocolate with Cookies & Cream filling, covered with vanilla BC. Flowers are gum paste. My first & last time quilting on dark colored fondant and I have had it with Satin Ice! Thanks for looking at my disaster. Oh thanks to Lucycoo for inspiration for the cake as I loved her idea - her cake was beautiful!
