White Chocolate Wedding Cake

White Chocolate Wedding Cake on Cake Central

Just finished this one. Bottom tier is a vanilla buttercake with vanilla buttercream filling, top tier is a chocolate buttercake with chocolate buttercream. 6inch top, 10inch base. Roses made with white chocolate paste, and bars on the side are solid white chocolate. The bride wanted the cake to tie in with her pink theme and that is why there is pink artificial flowers and the ribbon on it. Not happy about the artificial flowers, and just didnt have time to make them in sugarpaste.

tye, this is just the colour of *white* chocolate in Australia. If you have a look at my other white chocolate cakes you'll see that they all have the same yellow tint.

stunning.... I knew you would not be happy with artificial flowers but if the bride was happy thats all that matters

I think this is my favorite cake. Very elegant. Do you care to share your secrets for the chocolate bars on the sides? This is a truly beautiful cake.

Beautiful cake - I can't wait to do a choco bar cake someday! I agree with the artificial flowers from a decorators point of view only because your flowers are SOOOO much nicer! But to the "average man" they must have gone crazy over it!! I do like the little bit of sparkle they add tho. Love your roses!
