This was for my second daughter's first birthday. She's our little princess and deserved a fairy castle! This was taken from a book I own and some pictures at the site.
Paper towel rolls covered with fondant. Apparently there is a way to do them and then slip out the rolls (with gelatin icing) so it is entirely edible but I didn't have the time. Sugar cones (centre is a waffle cone) are on top of the paper towel rolls; they are rolled in coloured cake sugar.
