My cousin found a cake like this online, and asked me to duplicate it for her sons birthday. With some additions to the original, ( my cousins name, the stars, etc ) I made it all his own. OUTSIDE : covered in fondant, letters are dual color fondant, the "wooden planks" are gumpaste, painted with food coloring and spirit. The "desert sand" is actually ground up graham cracker =). The toys are toys she got from a party supply store. INSIDE : vanilla cake with a custard cake, home made buttercream etc.
