I made this cake for the son of someone I used to work with. He was very specific about what he wanted and it had to be 3 tiers. He wanted the top tier swimming related as he is big into that. The second tier needed to be something related to the college he is going to be attending and the bottom tier related to the highschool he was graduating from. The swimmer is doing the butterfly stroke as thats what he swims, the Drew rangers logo is the college he will be attendings sports logo and school colors are navy and green. The colors of the highschool he is graduating from are burgundy and navy. I hand cut the letters to look like the way the school does the lettering and the saying at the bottom is part of the schools mission statement. I hand painted the letters , the saying and the drew rangers logo. The top tier is chocolate with espresso buttercream, middle is chocolate with peanut butter buttercream and the bottom is vanilla with vanilla buttercream.
