Let me first by saying thanks to Adevag for all the instructions on how to do this cake, this cake was her design and was awesome with helping me complete mine. Although mine didn't come out exactly how I was hoping I am very happy with the turnout of it considering it was my first purse cake. I hand painted the horse and carriage on the purse to match the coach design and after I rolled the fondant out I laid crumbled up foil over it and rolled my rolling pin over it giving the purse a texture that looks like leather, I then sponged on piping gel for the shine. I had one part of the fondant that I pushed in too much on the bottom and so I decided to cover up that small mistake with sugar chrysanthemums. I actually like the flowers added to it.
