Thanks everyone....the mosaic theme was something I wanted to try...although I didn't plan this cake out very well and it came out totally differently than I thought it would. My brother loves modern things so I went towards the Frank Lloyd Wright look.....the swirls are just something I love and I liked the contrast they added to the angles. I did roll the fondant....It gets easier everytime you do it, as everything does. Thanks everyone!!!!

Absolutely beautiful!!! Are the tiles made out of fondant? Did you let them dry and then stuck the pieces to the cake??

Now that's a dazzler! Awesome looking cake!!! Did you hand roll the fondant pieces? Excellent job!

There is something so unique about this cake - a combo of modern male lines and elegant female swirls. I see such a difference in the cakes between those with artistic ability (esp. trained) and those of us (most def. me) that failed the stick figure part of art class. I need to push the green-eyed monster down when I look at your amazing cakes.

You deserve every single comment! This looks delectably beautiful, and everything from the cake to the decorationgs are perfectly even. I'm too amazed to be jealous.
