Floral Fantasy Wedding Cake

I recently decided that I needed to work on another display cake, but I've been busy and haven't had the time. I had a bunch of sage green fondant that I had trouble getting to work on another cake for a customer, so I thought I could use it to make a display cake. We didn't have many cakes this past week, so I started work on this display piece. I had originally planned to use brown ribbon and create some kind of dogwood type flower, but got this wild idea after finding the ribbon that is around the bottom and on the separator pieces. The cake is a 4"/8"/12" combination. I cut all the flowers with cutters I already had. I used my clay extruder to make the stems, and then all the flowers were hand painted. I tried to make them look like they do on the ribbon. The flowers are silk. I need to work on my flower arranging skills! All in all, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
