puppy cake sculpted from a 9X13 and an 8 inch cake. head is RKT with fondant features. CC has helped me so much with this and other projects, I thought I would take photos of how it went together. the 9x13 was cut in half the long way and stacked. the square was used to build the hind and front legs and a little hump on the back for its hips. then, i just carved curves in the edges. Tail is a little trimming of cake. The filling is a coked fudge frosting and the icing is vanilla IMBC. I just used a spatula to create hair-like fur. a labradoodle photo was my guide. The head is heavy and should be doweled with 2 plastic dowels under it to hold it up.
