My husband made this cake for my 50th birthday. Yes, he really did. He's watched me make enough cakes that he surprised me for my 50th birthday with this cake. I make hair bows, raise chickens, ride horses, make cakes and love parrots of all kinds, especially cockatiels. He put all my loves on the cake. He got up in the middle of the night and worked on this cake while I was sleeping, then he hid it and washed all the cake stuff and put it up. He did this two nights in a row and then gave me the most wonderful 50th surprise party.
