This is my first spiral cake and ended up to be bigger than I expected. It ended up weighing 15 pounds! I followed the spiral cake instructions found here on Cake Central and found them very helpful. The cake is covered in MMF and all of the designs are MMF. The green grass is buttercream icing, the checkered flag is a 50/50 mix of MMF and gumpaste. Last but not least, the dirt is crushed up chocolate graham crackers.
