This was my very FIRST decorative cake for an occasion!! I have 3 children and I finally decided to do a cake for the baby's first birthday. :) His favorite toys and his first word was "ball". The cake is 3 French Vanilla boxed cakes with cream cheese icing and strawberry filling. The balls and top layer (rim) of cake are rice crispy treats wrapped in marshmallow fondant. It was so yummy. I obviously need practice with fondant.
