For my son's 8th birthday. He LOVES experiments so I did a surprise science party. I wasn't very pleased with the petri dish but I think the beaker and test tube cake turned out pretty well. I used fondant on the top half and green BC on the bottom. Would probably have been better if I had an airbrush... maybe someday! 6 layer 8 inch diameter "beaker" in Chocolate, White & Strawberry cake with BC Icing and fondant details. Suspended test tubes with Jolly Rancher "chemicals" bring total height to 21 inches. Fondant covered 6 inch single layer "Petri dish".
