I used a loaf pan to get the rectangular shape of the "basket". I used chocolate frosting for the basketweave design. The flowers (roses, easter lillies, petunias, and morning glories) are made with royal icing. The green leaves were made with fondant. The "dirt" was made with crumbled up oreos!
