Our friend's son asked for a "cool car" for his 8th birthday. He was really excited when we showed up with this hot rod. This cake was sculpted chocolate with buttercream, covered in fondant. The "smoke" was made using spun sugar. Thankfully we got our pictures early since the humidity melted the sugar smoke within a half hour of leaving the kitchen!
