I did this cake for a friend. It was her son's 7th birthday. The camo pattern was all freehand in buttercream. The tank was carved out of a few smaller cakes and I used a pretzel stick for the gun. I added Sugar in the Raw around the base of the cake and around the bottom of the tank to look like sand. I also added some army men and a little American flag. I wish I had had more time to work on the tank. It could have turned out way better. But I have three kids and have three afterschool kids I watch.
