Coin coated in gold luster dust + confectExtruded fondant for facial markings and collar. Coated in 50/50 corn syrup and Everclear for shine. This was my entry for the "Adult Beginner - Sculpted Cakes" category at the That Takes the Cake 2010 Austin cake show.
